Independent research conducted by the site shows that more than 50% of people polled conducted business with companies they would brag about or recommend to friends, specifically for home and family services, such as household repairs and maintenance, pet and childcare. Additionally, 70% of people are more likely to hire a service provider that a friend has bragged about.
Bragadoo makes it easy for consumers to boast about favorite businesses and share their comments, approval and experiences with others in the Bragadoo community. Bragadoo Braganaire Contest Kicks-Off
To support the site’s launch, Bragadoo kicks-off a contest today to name America’s first Braganaire, offering the winner the opportunity to select and hire an entourage of bragworthy professionals to perform home, family and personal services for one year. The winner of the Braganaire contest will receive $20,000 in services from Bragadoo.

Bragadoo replaces Jobvana.com, a site offering local listings and reviews of service providers, which was founded by entrepreneur Nathan Casey in 2008. Bragadoo has received funding from John Chapple at Hawkeye Investments LLC, Dennis Weibling at Rally Capital LLC, and other Seattle-based angel investors.
